On Wednesday, January 13, 2009, Carl’s Jr. customers can have lunch with Kim Kardashian.
The event, dubbed “The Ultimate Salad Lunch Date,” will give anyone who purchases one of the California-based burger chain’s three new premium grilled chicken entrée salads the chance to spend an hour with the reality television star as she answers fan questions via Facebook webcast, according to a press release issued by Carl’s Jr.
While anyone can view the webcast by simply visiting Carl’s Jr.’s Facebook page, only those with access codes can interact with Kardashian during the date. Access codes can be obtained by visiting a participating restaurant between December 30, 2009 and January 12, 2010 and purchasing either the Cranberry, Apple, Walnut Grilled Chicken Salad; the Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad; or the Original Grilled Chicken Salad. In the release, Brad Haley, EVP of Marketing for Carl’s Jr., states that all three salads can be purchased for under five dollars and two of the three contain less than 500 calories each.
In addition to the “Ultimate Salad Lunch Date,” Kardashian will also be featured on a collectible cup, in a 3D video, and in a sexy new commercial to debut online next week and on television just after Christmas.
