Wienerschnitzel this month unveils its latest creation, the Double Chili Cheeseburger, just in time for two hot dog-related holidays.
The forty-nine-year-old hot dog restaurant will offer the sandwich as a way to celebrate National Hot Dog Month, according to a report on QSR Magazine’s website. The Double Chili Cheeseburger will feature “new, home-style beef patties” topped with two slices of cheese and the company’s heralded chili. A deluxe version of the burger — the Double Ultimate Chili Cheeseburger — also includes tomato, onions, pickles, and mustard.
Along with serving as National Hot Dog Month, July also contains National Hot Dog Day, celebrated on the 21st. Last year, Wienerschnitzel honored the occasions by giving away free chili dogs and Tastee-Freez cones.
Customers can purchase both varieties of the Double Chili Cheeseburger beginning this month at all locations.
